Vladimir Aleksandrovich Zhugan was born on August 27, 1926 in the village of Likhovka, Dnipropetrovsk region. Painter, one of the founders of the industrial landscape. He studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art College. Teachers: Panin M., Pogrebnyak N. Since 1949, the artist's works have been exhibited at various exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 2006, he has been an Honored Artist of Ukraine. His works are in art museums in Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kamenets-Podolsky and numerous private collections. The artist died on September 15, 2008.
