Walter Boodle (1859-1914) was a British artist. A well-known representative of English landscape painting of the Victorian era. His favorite subjects were images of the surroundings of the city of Bath, where he lived and worked. In his flattering landscapes, the depth of feelings is combined with poetry and truthfulness. He sang of his native nature, as if filling the space of paintings and sketches with light and air, conveying the dynamics of the sky, the freshness of the green foliage of trees and grass, the inseparable connection of nature and man.
