Voloshin Georgy Sergeevich was born on May 5, 1925 in the city of Yekaterinoslav, now Dnepropetrovsk. He studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art Pedagogical College (1948), at the Kiev Art Institute (1956). Teachers in the specialty: A. Vandalovsky, A. Zhiradkov, M. Pogrebnyak, M. Panin, G. Melikhov, T. Yablonskaya, K. Trokhimenko, V. Kasiyan. Painter. He worked in the field of easel painting. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1965). He worked in the creative workshops of the Art Fund of the USSR and the Ukrainian SSR. He taught at art studios in Kiev and the House of Architects, the Palace of Pioneers, the House of Folk Art and the School of Trade Unions. Participated in regional (1944), republican (1957) exhibitions. The canvases are kept in the Dnepropetrovsk Museum, the Kremenets Museum, the Mykolaiv Art Museum, the Chernihiv Art Museum, the Museum of Partisan Glory, the Shushenskaya Art Gallery (Russia), the Dzhambul Art Museum (Kazakhstan). He lived and worked in the city of Kiev. The artist died on February 6, 2014 in Kiev.
