Alexander Anatolyevich Volnenko was born on March 23, 1941 in Kharkov. Son of Anatoly Nikonovich Volnenka. He studied at the Taras Shevchenko National Art School and the Kiev State Art Institute. Teachers: Budnikov G., Trokhimenko K., Khmelko M., Shtilman I., Chichkan L. Since 1969 he has been working as a production designer at the Kiev State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. During 1972-1975, he worked as a teacher at the Taras Shevchenko National Art School, and from 1975 to 1979 at the Kiev State Art Institute. In 1979, he joined the National Union of Artists. His works are kept in the collections of the Directorate of Art Exhibitions of Ukraine and private collections.
