Andrey Nikitich Mordovian was born on August 26, 1918 in the village of Kulichki, Sumy region. He studied at the Kharkov Art College, the Leningrad Art Institute named after I. Repin. Teachers: Frents R., Olkhovsky B., Sorokin I. Worked in the field of easel painting. Since 1961, he has participated in national exhibitions. A personal exhibition was held in Chernigov in 1963. Since 2006, he has been an Honored Artist of Ukraine. Main works: "Gaydamaki" (1961); "Kachanovka" (1964)" and others. The artist died in 2006.
