Arkady Efimovich Strelov (1923-1994) was a painter and landscape painter. Born in the village of Shukhra, Ivanovo region, Russia. He graduated from the Ivanovo Art College (1950). He moved to Yalta in 1950. Member of the Council of Artists of the USSR (since 1961). Participant of the Second World War. He works in the field of easel painting. Participates in national, All-Union and international exhibitions (since 1957). He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and medals. The artist's works are kept in museums in Ukraine and private collections in Hungary, Canada, Poland, Switzerland, Japan, Greece and the USA.
