Trokhymenko Karp Demyanovich was born on October 25, 1885 in the village of Sushchany, Kyiv region. Studied at N. I. Murashka Art School, Kyiv Art School, Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. Teachers: Seleznyov I., Kasatkin N. A., Samokysh M. S. Outstanding Ukrainian artist and teacher. People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR. Master of genre, historical and landscape painting. Since 1918, he participated in art exhibitions. In 1968, a personal exhibition of the artist was held in Kyiv. The works are presented in art museums, galleries and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. The artist died on October 1, 1979 in Kyiv.
