Sychkov F. "Girl in Poppies"

 Fedot Sychkov is a famous Russian, Soviet painter, Honored Artist of the Mordovian ASSR (1937), Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1950), People's Artist of the Mordovian ASSR (1955). Born in the village Kochelaevo was born in a poor peasant family. Having lost his father early, he learned a lot of need and resentment in his childhood. Since childhood, he showed an aptitude for painting, was engaged in drawing with the school teacher P. E. Dumaev.
