Vladimir Strelnikov is a painter, graphic artist. He studied at OAI (1936-1954), under T. Fraerman and P. Volokidin. He taught at art schools in Odessa and Kherson. Member of the USSR Artist Union (1953). In the early 50s, he became the author of the discovery of the "fourth law of perspective". In the artist's painting, a special place is given to Odessa city landscapes and still lifes. Original and deeply individual works of these genres are a fusion of the picturesque traditions of the South Russian school with the traditions of French painting of the late XIX century.The works are in the Odessa Art Museum and in private collections of Ukraine, Russia, the USA, Canada, Japan.
