Stratilat Nikolay Ivanovich (people. 6. 06. 1942, Makeyevka village, Nosovsky district, Chernihiv region)-Ukrainian graphic artist, Honored Artist of Ukraine (1996), member of the Union of journalists of Ukraine (1975), member of the Union of artists of Ukraine (1980). He studied at the I. Fedorov Ukrainian polygraphic Institute (1967-1972). Thesis-a series of 14 engravings "Kupala songs", 13 of which were published in the Warsaw Ukrainian calendar. Participant of National, Inter-Republican, all-union and international exhibitions since 1978. Solo exhibitions of the artist were held in Prague (1975), Budapest (1985), Vatican City (1990), Kiev (2000). Main areas of activity - easel and book Graphics, Ex-Libris. The author of graphic works "Sednevskaya autumn", "song about Kiev"(1980 – 1981), "night of the moon" (1983 – 1986), "peace of my land" (1984), "Nocturnes over the Desna" (1986), "destroyed shrines of Kiev" (1986 – 1990), etc. created many portraits of prominent Ukrainian figures, in particular, Pyotr Konashevich Sagaidachny (1984), Taras Shevchenko (1986), Metropolitan Sheptytsky (1990), Patriarch Mstislav of Kiev and all Ukraine (1991), metropolitan Peter Mogila of Kiev and Galicia (1996), etc. in the artist's creative heritage – illustration and Artistic Design of about a hundred different publications, including collections of poems "my Kiev" (1982, publishing house "rainbow"), "I love the winter morning" by YA.
