Vasily Artemovich Bozhenko is a Ukrainian painter. He was born in the village of Novoraysk, Kherson region. In 1963-1968 he studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art College. In 1978, he graduated from the Art and Graphic Faculty of the Odessa Pedagogical Institute. He lives in Kherson. Vasily Artemovich is a laureate of the I World Folk Art Festival (Kiev), a regular participant in national and regional exhibitions.
