"Wheat field"

Soviet Ukrainian painter . Member of the SS of the Ukrainian SSR . Born in the village of Kalovka, Vinnytsia region, in 1890 .  He studied at the icon painting School of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra (1903-1909).I. Itsakevich, at the Kiev art school (1911-1915) with A. Murashko, at the Academy of Arts (1915-1916) with A. Makovsky, at the Kiev Art Institute (1927-1930) with F. Krichevsky.  Since 1927, he has participated in national and all-union art exhibitions.  In 1911-1915, he participated in the murals of churches in Kiev and Ekaterinoslav (Dnepropetrovsk). Solo exhibitions were held in Kiev in 1955, 1966, 1987; in Vologda in 1957, in Lviv in 1956, in Donetsk in 1967, 1968, and other members of the Union of artists of the USSR.
