Anatoly Nikiforovich Fomin (1925-2013) - Ukrainian artist, worked in the genres of landscape and Genre Painting. Born in Aktobe, Russia. He graduated from the XXI century (1960), studied under G. Kolosovsky, was his last student and follower. Participant of national and all-Union exhibitions. Member of CFU (since 1964). His works were purchased by The Art Foundation and museums of the former Soviet Union. It is put up for auction at Arcole in France (1988-1990). Collaborates with Edvard Krosh galleries (1991-1997, Great Britain, London, Manchester), Road Gallery (1995-1996, Great Britain, London), galleries in Germany (1995-1999, Munich), Holland (2008, Rotterdam). Fomin's works are in museums in Ukraine, private collections in Great Britain, Germany, Holland, Italy, and Switzerland. USA. France, Ukraine, Russia, Finland, Poland, And Scotland. It is a prominent representative of the School of Zaporozhye landscape, founded by G. Kolosovsky. Lives in Zaporozhye (since 1929).
