Gantman Moisei Faybovich was born on December 5, 1922 in Dukor, Minsk region. He studied at the Vitebsk Art College and the All-Union Institute of Cinematography. He worked in the field of film decoration and easel painting. The artist's main works include the design of the feature films "Earth", "Born of the Storm", "Once upon a Wonderful Day", "If You Love", "Makar Dibrova" and others. Participated in national, All-Union and foreign exhibitions. The artist died on March 9, 2010.
