"Still Life"

Daniel Ivanovich Bezugly was born on December 23, 1914 on the Ivanivtsy farm, now the Poltava region. He studied at the Kiev Art College and the Kiev Art Institute. He worked in the field of easel painting. He was a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and a member of the CPSU. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Participated in national, All-Union, foreign (in Poland, Japan, Czechoslovakia, Canada, Sweden), personal (Kiev) exhibitions. The most famous works of the artist are "Crossing the Dnieper", "Transcarpathian Land", "T. Shevchenko among the Kazakhs", "Morning", "Far from Ukraine", "Descendant" and others. The works are on display at the National Art Museum, the Art Museum of Lviv, Kharkov, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy and Chernigov, as well as at the Alupka Palace Museum and the Lubenskaya Art Gallery. The artist died on January 29, 1977 in Kiev.
