Dovgalevskaya Vera Veniaminovna was born on August 21, 1916 in the city of Skvira, Kiev region. She studied at the Kiev Art College and the Kiev Art Institute. Teachers: Trokhimenko K., Krichevsky F., Volokidin P., Yeleva K. Since 1957 he has participated in national, All-Union and foreign exhibitions. Since 1963, he has been a member of the Kiev Organization of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. She worked in the field of easel painting. Master of portrait, still life and landscape painting. Main works: "Still Life with Flowers" (1950), "Poppies" (1953), "Flowers" (1957), "Tenderness" (1959), "Still Life with Viola" and "Lilac" (1960), "The Girl in the Red Beret" (1969), "Spring Still Life" (1981). The artist's works are represented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. The artist died in 1999.
