Grigoriev Sergey Alekseevich was born on July 5, 1910 in Lugansk. He studied at the Zaporozhye Art Vocational School and the Kiev Art Institute. Teachers: Neva V., Kuznetsov M., Kupriyanov M., L. Bruni, V., Krichevsky F. He worked in the field of easel painting. Since 1933, he has participated in national, All-Union and international exhibitions. In 1948, he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, and in 1951, People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR. Corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Main works: "On the beach", "At meetings", "In the native family", "Goalkeeper", "Reception to the Komsomol", "Discussion of the two", "Native mother", "Children" and others. Sergey Alekseevich died on April 9, 1988.
