Sergeeva-Sokolova Zinaida Ivanovna was born on September 21, 1907 in Kharkov. She studied at the Kharkov Art Institute in 1926-1931. Teachers in the specialty: M. Burachek, S. Prokhorov, O. Marenkov, I. Padalka. She worked in the field of easel painting. Main works: "Still Life. Daisies" (1944); "The Woods" (1955); "Still Life. Cornflowers" (1958); "Lilac" (1962); "Cineraria" and others. She participated in national exhibitions since 1944, All-Union exhibitions since 1957, and foreign exhibitions since 1955. The artist died in 2000.
