Gantman Moisei Faybovich was born on December 5, 1922 in Dukori, Minsk region. He studied at the Vitebsk Art College and the All-Union Institute of Cinematography. He worked in the field of film decoration and easel painting. The artist's main works include the design of the feature films "Earth", "Born of a Storm", "One Wonderful Day", "If You Love", "Makar Dibrova" (Dovzhenko Kyiv Studio of Feature Films) and others. Participated in national, All-Union and foreign exhibitions. The artist died on March 9, 2010.
