Simferopol artist Konovalov Yuri Alexandrovich was born on June 16, 1927, in the city of Yaroslavl. He studied at the Yaroslavl Art College (1942 - 1947), graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1954). The teacher of the specialty is K. Trokhimenko. He worked in the field of easel painting. Participated in exhibitions: republican (since 1958), All-Union (since 1961). Main works: "On the Dnieper" (1958); "Off the coast of Crimea" (1960); "When Evening Comes" (1961); "In the Crimean Mountains" (1963) and others. He lived and worked in the city of Simferopol. He died in 1995.
