Dovgalevskaya Vera Veniaminovna was born on august 21, 1916 in the city of Skvira, Kiev region. She studied at the Kiev Art College and the Kiev Art Institute. Teachers: Trokhimenko K., Krichevsky F., Volokidina P., Yeleva K. Since 1957 participates in national, All-Union and foreign exhibitions. Since 1963, she has been a member of the Kiev Organization of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. She worked in the field of easel painting. Master portrait, still life and landscape. Her main works are "Still Life with Flowers" (1950), "Poppies" (1953), "Flowers" (1957), "Tenderness" (1959), "Still Life with Speedol and Lilac" (1960), "The Girl in the Red Beret" (1969). The artist's works are represented in museum, gallery and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. The artist died in 1999.
