Kiev artist Anatoly Vasilyevich Ikonnikov was born on June 22, 1941, in the city of Kiev. Husband of V. Kalinovskaya. Graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1967). Teachers in the specialty: S. Grosh, V. Kasyan. Theater artist, painter. The main branches are painting (genres — portrait, landscape) and scenography. He also created enamels and monumental mosaics. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1982). Worked in Kiev: editor-in-chief of the film poster department: Ukrreklamfilm (c1974), artist of the Monumental and Decorative Art Combine (1985). Participated in exhibitions. Solo exhibitions — in the city of Spa (Belgium, 1998). Main works: painting — "V. Kalinovka. The Carmen Party" (1995), "Russian Ballet through the eyes of the Japanese" (1996), "V. Kalinovskaya. The role of Kitri in the ballet "Don Quixote" by L. Minkus" (1998), "Jesus Christ" (2000); designed ballets — "The Little Mermaid" by A. Kostin (1993), "Cipollino" by K. Khachaturian (1995), "Viennese Waltz" by I. Strauss (2001), "Daniela" by M. Chamberjee (2006). He lived and worked in Kiev, died on March 15, 2008.
