Alexander Fedorovich Mynka was born on May 15, 1938 in the Donetsk region. His first art teacher was his father Fyodor Yemelyanovich. He studied at the Dnepropetrovsk Art College and the Kiev Art Institute. Teachers: Kostetsky V., Trokhimenko K., Yablonskaya T., Zabashta V. Since 1980 - member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Participant of city, national, All-Union and foreign art exhibitions. In 2000, the artist's posthumous solo exhibitions were held at the National Art Museum of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. The artist's works are represented in museum collections in Ukraine, Russia, and Kazakhstan, and are held in gallery and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Japan, France, Canada, and the U.S. White House. The artist died in 1999.
