Bakaev Sergey Ivanovich was born on April 7, 1922 in Semipalatinsk, Russia. He studied at the Simferopol Art College. Teachers: Bernadsky V., Kuznetsov T., Kroshitsky M. has been participating in exhibitions since 1960. Since 1961, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1999, he has been an Honored Artist of the Crimea. Main works: "At the Pier" (1955); "Evening in the Vineyards" (1959); "Vineyards" (1959); "The Last Rays" (1964); "Apple Trees are Blooming" (1968); "The Sea" (1970); "The Mountains do not sleep"(1972); "The Sea Border" (1977). The artist's works are in the collections of the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Kharkov Art Museum, the Chernigov Historical Museum, the Simferopol Art Museum, and in private collections in Ukraine and abroad. The artist died in 2010.
