Alexander Nikolaevich Glushchenko was born on January 28, 1938 in Moscow. The son of the outstanding painter Nikolai Petrovich Glushchenko. The artist adopted his father's technique and color, but he contributed to the painting tradition – he gave the drawing expressiveness. Studied at the Kiev Art Institute. Teachers: I. Shtilman, O. Shovkunenko, V. Kostetsky. He worked in the field of easel painting. Since 1968, he has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1965, he has participated in national and foreign exhibitions. Main works: "Autumn on the Dnieper" (1965); "Kievskaya Street" (1966), "Vladimirskaya Hill" (1966); "Sovetskaya Square" (1969), "Podol" (1969). The artist died on September 12, 1998.
