“Flower Still life”

The famous artist Gyula Siska was born in 1958 in Hungary, in the town of Shamoszeg.
Today he is known all over the world as an unsurpassed master of floral still lifes.Gyula received his higher education at the Higher School of Art and Industrial Design under the supervision of Lajos Uivari.
Then he continued his studies - this time at the University of the Arts of Hungary, under the supervision of Tibor Brad.
The artist worked as a restorer at the National Gallery, and then at the National Library in Szechenyi.
He studied the methods of classical painting, and applied them in his works. De Heem, Vermeer and other Dutch masters had the greatest influence on him. With the blessing of Pope John Paul II, Gyula participated in the reconstruction of the image from the Shroud of Turin.
Shishka's works were regularly exhibited by the largest European galleries in London, Paris and Vienna.
Collectors appreciate his meticulous detail and magnificent craftsmanship, which few living artists are able to achieve, as well as the tranquility inherent in the flower painting of the old masters.
