"The City"

Sakhnenko Viktor Ivanovich was born on January 7, 1923 in the city of Druzhkovka, Donetsk region. Studied at the Yakovlev Art Studio (1936-1941), at the Kiev Art Institute (1953). Diploma work "I. P. Kotlyarevsky and M. S. Shchepkin at the rehearsal of the opera" Natalka-Poltavka " Teachers in the specialty: A. Ya. Bondar, V. I. Kasyan, G. S. Melikhov, T. M. Yablonskaya. He worked as an artist-designer in the theater in the Mashzavod Community Center. He went to the front with the units that liberated the city in September 1943. He worked as an artist in the club of the First Mechanized Corps, in the newspapers "V boy za Rodinu" and "Soviet warrior". He was awarded the medal "For Courage". He was demobilized in February 1947. Studied, after graduating from the institute worked at the Stalin Regional Publishing House (1953). Member of the Union of Artists since 1957. Taught at the Belarusian State Theatre and Art Institute (1963-1967) Participated in exhibitions: all-Union, republican and foreign exhibitions (1946). Personal exhibition in Italy (1972) Works are stored: in the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, funds of the Belarusian Union of Artists, Druzhkovka Museum of Local History. In private collections in Poland, Czechoslovakia, France, Italy, the USA and other countries. Died on April 26, 1973.
