He was born on November 27, 1877 in Zolotonosha (now Cherkassy region). He graduated from the Kiev Art College (1913), workshop of V. Mecca. He worked in the field of easel painting. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1927, All-Union since 1937, personal - Kiev, 1957, 1967. Main works: "Temple of the Air" (1935); "Vorskla" (1946); "On Guard of the Harvest" (1949); "Spring in Ukraine" (1953); "Harvest" (1957); "Endless Flight" (1959); "Dahlias of Joy" (1967) and others. He died on December 24, 1974.
