Anatoly Mikhailovich Zhezher was born on December 5, 1937 in Dneprodzerzhinsk, Dnipropetrovsk region. He studied at the Dnepropetrovsk art school.Teachers: Chernyavsky G. G., Rodzin M. I., and Borovsky M. S. since 1961 participates in regional, national, all-union, and foreign exhibitions. Works in the field of easel painting. Since 1978-member of the Union of artists of the USSR. The artist's works are in Dnepropetrovsk art and historical museums, the Museum of history of the city of Dneprodzerzhinsk, private collections in Ukraine, Russia, USA, Hungary, Poland, France, Austria, etc. in 2014 Anatoly Mikhailovich Zhezher was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine. The artist died on September 20, 2020.
